Vinosity (Pty) Ltd (referred to below as “Vinosity” or “we”) is a private company registered in South Africa with business address:

These terms and conditions describe our use of personal information provided to us via the Vinosity Website located at http://www.vinosity.co.za and associated international websites (“Website”), as well as other terms and conditions relating to the use of and order of wine through the medium of our Website, and the receipt of personal information through the YOCO Gateway.

General

  • The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa.

  • Transaction currency is South African Rands (ZAR).

  • All prices displayed on the Website are in ZAR and inclusive of VAT (currently 15%).

All goods supplied by Vinosity remain the property of Vinosity (Pty) Ltd until paid for in full.

  • No alcohol may be sold to persons under the age of 18.

  • All contracts will be concluded in English.

  • Vinosity encourages responsible alcohol consumption and subscribes to the principles espoused by the ARA (Association for Responsible Alcohol Use).

  • Vinosity is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring safe and secure online shopping.

Product Descriptions and Errors

Due to the volume of products listed on the site, despite our best efforts, some may be incorrectly described or priced. If an error is identified, we will contact you to confirm your order or offer cancellation.

Prices are subject to change without notice and may differ between purchases of the same product.

Electronic Contract & Consumer Protection Act

This section refers to sales between you, the customer, and Vinosity, the vendor.

How the electronic contract is formed:

  1. You place an order by clicking the Confirm Order button at checkout.

  2. Vinosity sends an order confirmation email detailing the products you ordered (this is not an order acceptance).

  3. The contract is completed upon dispatch of your order.

We reserve the right to cancel an order due to:

  • Product unavailability

  • Payment authorisation issues

  • Pricing or description errors

  • Non-compliance with eligibility criteria

  • Other reasonable grounds at Vinosity’s sole discretion

Delivery

  • Orders are fulfilled within 5–7 working days, area dependent.

  • Goods will not be released until our bank confirms cleared and irrevocable payment.

Returns & Refunds

Return shipping (unless due to a Vinosity error) is at the customer’s expense.

Payment

Online payments are processed through YOCO Gateway. We accept:

  • Visa

  • MasterCard

  • American Express

  • EFT / Bank Deposits

We do not accept cheques.

Descriptions & Stock

While we aim for accuracy in descriptions, prices, and images, we do not guarantee the absence of occasional inaccuracies. Images may differ due to screen settings, internet limitations, and vintage changes.

If a product is out of stock, it will be removed from visibility on the site. There may be delays between out-of-stock occurrences and site updates.

Privacy

We respect your privacy and do not sell or share your data with third parties. All personal data is held securely and processed in line with PoPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act).
